The following links provide information about various events and activities going on in and around ASU, Tempe, and the greater Phoenix area. While you are in town to attend the conference, we hope you will also enjoy your stay here and take sometime to explore the Valley of the Sun.

Weather in late October is just about perfect. Although there is always a chance of rain (a rare and welcome occurrence for those of us who live here), plan to spend as much time as possible outdoors.

Hike South Mountain or many of the other desert parks and trails around Phoenix (dog not included).
Enjoy dining al fresco in the evening, attending the UCLA/Arizona State football game, horseback riding and hiking in South Mountain Park, visiting museums of native culture and the Southwest, touring our arboretums and botanical gardens, getting in a game of golf.
Have a margarita...or two
