Jeannine Savard is an Associate Professor of English at Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona. She has been a member of the Department of English and the MFA Faculty in Creative Writing since 1988. Savard teaches graduate and undergraduate poetry workshops.

Savard’s publications include four books of poetry, most recently Accounted For (Red Hen Press, 2011). Previous books of poems include: My Hand Upon Your Name (Red Hen Press, 2005), Trumpeter (Carnegie Mellon University Press, 1993), and Snow Water Cove (University of Utah Press, 1988), which was reissued in the Carnegie Mellon Classic Contemporary series (Carnegie Mellon University Press, 2006).

Her poems have appeared, or are forthcoming in journals such as: Blackbird, The Fiddlehead, Superstition Review, Crab Orchard Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, The Salt River Review, and The Nashville Review.
