Coming

Writing for Publication: Behind the Scenes in Language Education (2003)
In this chapter, I explore issues that graduate students face in learning to write for publication by constructing a narrative of my own experience of learning to write
for scholarly publication. I begin by discussing my initial goal—publishing
for the sake of publishing—and describe how I became aware of the
importance of being aware of the audience, of reading widely, of finding
a real purpose for writing.
