This is my second Willys. When I bought my first Willys, people suspected that maybe my judgement was poor. When I bought the second, they knew I was nuts.

The top picture is in front of my house. The second in on I-8 between Gila Bend and Yuma Arizona. It was 108 and with no a/c, we were cookin'.

The beach pictures are a few miles east of Golfo on the north shore of the Gulf of California. People wonder why I would drive an antique vehicle hundreds of miles, cross an international border, and continue out beyond the roads into uncharted territory. But then that is why I bought this Willys!

update 8/9/01

The engine died two days before Christmas of 1999. While rebuilding it I broke my foot and was laid up for several months. (You can't hold a wrench with crutches in both hnads!) Then my son wanted to rebuild the engine in his 1970 Camaro,...

Someday (soon?) is will rise again like the Phoenix from the ashes!!!
