I took this assignment as the perfect opportunity to interview my father. I have always been fascinated by our family's history here in the United States but I just never got the opportunity to ask my father about his journey. I saw this assignment as the perfect opportunity to interview my father and ask him questions I have always wanted to ask, but never found the chance to ask. I always knew the basics of his life, but I had no idea how he felt about his journey or what he really went through.
Our interview took place at my father's house one evening. We talked over a snack and had a nice conversation. The time of day was just perfect and the atmosphere was very relaxing. As my father spoke his words told a story, a story I was not familiar with but one I would cherish forever.
