John Shin's Bio

I moved to Phoenix, Arizona in the summer of 1992 from San Diego, California.  I hated this place the moment I stepped outside the airport for the first time.  The heat waves radiating off of the pavement were nauseating.  I could not for the life of me understand why anyone would live here.  I'm still not used to the summers here, but I have come to love this place and now call it home.
