An unexpected Look into America Somoa

I met Fata at work. We work as dispatchers for a security company, we work 12 hours shifts and he works the days as I work the nights.  Although I didn’t intend on interviewing him, I first originally decided to interview a friend of my husbands; he arrived here in the US from Mexico.  He is currently a US citizen and is doing quite well for himself; I felt he had a good story to tell.  However he moved quite suddenly to San Diego for job purposes and I was unable to complete my interview.

Fata knowing that I am a college student asked me how everything was going, when I told him about my situation he offered to help me out.  Having been a student himself and obtaining his degree in Criminal Justice, he understood the bind I was in and wanted to help.   I had asked him questions before, while waiting for a ride home one day, so we already had a familiarity about talking about this subject.  I decided to come to work an hour early to ask him some more questions.  No one was present during our interview (there is hardly anyone in the office during weekends). However we were still interrupted during some questions, most of our guards come on duty between 5-6pm so it was quite difficult to get questions in between officers calling on duty.
