Our Preschool makes an effort to serve an ethnically, culturally and economically diverse population. Our students come from a variety of cities in the Phoenix metropolitan area as well as from the diverse parents enrolled at the Arizona State University. With them, our students bring a unique set of values and beliefs associated with their culture and individual family backgrounds. One of our main roles is to build a bridge between the child’s home and school, providing culturally sensitive care consistent with the child’s home.

We believe culture is the fundamental building block of identity. Through cultural learning, children gain a feeling of belonging, a sense of personal history, and a security in knowing who they are and where they came from.

We also make an effort to serve children who have special challenges. They are integrated into all the aspects of the classroom and are an important part of our preschool family.
