My intent here is to provide galleries of digitized primary source
materials -- images, texts and audio -- that I find compelling, or particularly
useful for my research and teaching.
Alfred Andersch Gallery - (under
construction) Alfred Andersch (1914-1980) was a writer, journalist,
radio broadcaster and poet. As with many of his contemporaries who grew
up during WWII, he is a problematic figure, much maligned by his critics
for his actions during the war and yet socially progressive and innovative
in his writing. As this gallery takes shape, you will be able to access
images (photographs, book covers, illustrations), audio files (readings,
radio excerpts) and texts (primary and secondary) related to Andersch's
work.
Digital Text Archive - follow this
link to find digital versions of articles, essays and somewhat longer
texts that I use for my research on the relationship between artistic
production and technological innovation, as well as for course assignments.
This archive is password-protected, you may e-mail me an access request
at dgilfil (at) asu (dot) edu.
Digital Sound Archive - this link will take you to digital audio clips
related to the radio projects I am working on for my book. This archive
is password-protected, you may e-mail me an access request at dgilfil (at) asu (dot) edu.
Source Bibliographies - here you will find
source bibliographies for areas that I find compelling for my teaching
and research. these are always to be considered works-in-progress, since
they will expand and decrease as I discover new text, film, audio, and
internet sources or decide that a particular source no longer satisfies
my teaching/research goals.
