A resource list of commonly cited agencies and organizations concerned with migration, immigration, and refugees. Each student in Migration & Culture 2004 contributed an annotated brief on one agency, based on their research responding to a common set of questions (see Im/migrant Agency Briefs instructions). The goal of these reports is to enable students and the public to swiftly identify key perspectives about immigration issues held by these agencies, in order to better evaluate partisan positions, reliability of data, reports, press releases, and sources for research and policy on migration. Readers should retain their own critical eye when reviewing these reports, which contain links to web pages of the agencies. Sorry for any inconsistencies of format and completeness.
